Optimize Your Supplier Profile

Editing your user and company information

The information you include in your profile directly influences the work you’re eligible for and the impression you can make on customers. Please make sure you fully complete these sections, and update them as needed:

  • User Information - Please note that your first name and profile photo are visible to the customer while direct messaging, so choose a good picture following our profile photo guidelines.
  • Company Information - Include your valid bank account information, and be sure to update it if it changes.
  • Team Settings - Inviting a team member will grant them access to all customer files, RFQs and Orders. Please make sure the person is authorized to view the data on the platform, including the banking information on the company information page. You can remove team members at any time.
  • Contact Information - include a good 3 to 5 sentence summary of your business in the About section. What makes your company stand out from other manufacturers?
  • Manufacturing Capabilities - Keeping your capabilities up to date is important as it can provide additional revenue opportunities. Our platform automatically matches customers' RFQs based on these capabilities.
  • Portfolio Images - Uploading photos of your work samples can help impress new customers. We recommend uploading professional, high-quality photos with good lighting and close-ups of relevant details.

What can customers see?

Customers can see your country, which certifications you have, your parts acceptance rate, capabilities, customer reviews, and work sample photos. They can also see your “About” section, so be sure to make that succinct and without any spelling or grammatical errors. Here’s an example of what the customer can see when they are selecting a supplier:

I am an ITAR registered supplier. What should I do to qualify as an ITAR supplier on the Jiga platform?

If you are an ITAR registered supplier, please contact us at suppliers@jiga.io and provide a copy of your ITAR letter. Our supply chain team will guide you through the next steps for vetting you as an ITAR-compliant supplier.

Are my manufacturing capabilities used for precision RFQ matching?

Yes! It’s important to keep your capabilities updated because each one is used for precision matching. For example, if you enter 5 for your Minimum Quantity per Part, you will not receive RFQ’s for 1 piece prototypes, so please consider your answers carefully. If you buy a larger machine, please update your Maximum part size.

What does the Capacity Setting do?

This setting is only visible to Jiga staff and informs us of your current availability. If you are at capacity, on vacation, or otherwise unavailable please mark your status as Busy. You will not be automatically matched to RFQ’s while “busy” however we can override it if necessary.

I don’t see any RFQ or quotes, what’s wrong?

Thank you for signing up as a supplier on Jiga! Suppliers on the Jiga platform go through a vetting process that includes interviews, document verification, onsite visits, sample orders, and real orders. It may take some time for our supply chain team to reach out after you have signed up and start the vetting process. We appreciate your patience.
